It turns out the previous owner of my ute cut some corners under the hood, and drilled some holes in my crossmember... I dont know why. Anyway now there are cracks around these holes and im pretty sure thats a bad thing. Does any one have a crossmember for sale? I dont mind paying for shipping.

Cheers, Johno (aka astroboy)

Which model crossmember?
Do you need a standard Datsun 1200 unit, or the later one with the 120Y mounts.

I know that your ute is the early,"genuine" 1200 model, but now's the chance to use the crossmember that matches the engine you are using.

Well the car is running an A14 so i guess whatever one hooks up to that would be the one im after... Probably out of one of the later model utes?

Looks like the '74 & later one is the go. This will save you from needing to modify the right side engine mount.

It looks like Ade has got the goods that you need.
