compression. what is safe???

hey guys,

what is a high but safe compression to run?

currently i'm at 150psi with a 1mm deck plate. if i remove it i should go up to about 170-180psi, would this be safe on pump gas??

yeah I think so.
I had a suzuki and only had 150psi when it was supposed to have about 180psi. Different motor i know, but just a comprassion. Actually thats probally not much help. sorry..

Let's see ... stock A12 compression is 9.0:1. You should be able to go to 11:1 on "premium" pump gasoline?
