anyone out there tried super/turbocharging an a10 engine??
am i insane for even contemplating this?

Probably.

The A10 has a three bearing crank, & despite this, it is a good engine. The A12 from the 1200 however is a direct physical drop in, into the 1000 chassis. [later A series engines are not] Now this engine has 20% more capacity & a 5 bearing crank, so it's
A10= good engine,
A12= great engine.
If you are going to force feed an "A" series, play it safe/smart & go with a non A10 engine
