Did Anyone See The 1200 Ute in the new fast fours its a very nice car but if you read the article you will see that it is for sale.
After speaking to a friend i was informed that the asking price is $27500 Holy #### i thought.
I would love to own this car but it seems a bit to much money for a 20 something year old car with a standard really ca18det.
Does anyone else have a opinion on this.

Maybe he's just trying to find a sucker whos got to much money!!!

Sounds like a ripoff, but if he did things properly, and went full-on "fast and furious" with accessories, then it's easy to spend that kind of money.

It does sound like a lot though for something that probably leaks in the rain (what 1200 doesn't ?)

Dont get me wrong its a awesome car and he probaly has spend $30000 on it but you can never expect to get your money back completely on a car you build i know i dont it would be nice thought to make money on one of my cars.

i went and looked at the mag...and yeah all credit to the bloke its really well done! (expect for those ricer mags you see on every second exel). but he is really dreaming.

good saying "Go sells before show" .... if your gonnna build a show car u will never ever get close to getting your moeny back.

that ute is about $10000 over-priced. maybe more. with 27500 you could buy 2 or 3 CADET utes!

u can never get ur money back 100% probly not even 50%, ive spent almost 8500 bucks on my ute already and its not tht good, maybe he has set the price high to try to get at least some of what he paid back, i havent seen it but if its as good as ppl have said maybe, someone will see it from his veiw and buy it considering the amount of money spent.

i agree with NIS15L those wheels degrade the old school beauty of the ute.
he has done a good job on it, very clean but there is no way he'll get that much for it...

he probably doesn't want to sell it, but if someones gonna offer him that much he'll take it... its free advertising for him, just in case someone is willing to part with a packet...
