a12 one will go on, there is little if any diffrence in the flywheels i have noticed when playing engine swaps, i know they will interchange and clutches also interchange but they may be diffrent weights

dont forget to put a spigot bush in the end of the crank shaft too if it was auto

Flywheel weights got progressively heavier with each increase in capacity. The lightest "big clutch" flywheel is from the 1200's, & this is a direct bolt on, but if you are prepared to do a little work, the A10, or Datsun 1000 flywheel is noticeably lighter.

The A10 flywheel uses a smaller clutch, with a smaller bolt pattern, & it has a groove machined in the face, just outside the clutch dics.

To make it work, you need to machine the face of the flywheel down to the bottom of the groove, then have the flywheel redrilled for the larger clutch. While you are at it, machine some from the rear of the flywheel as well, just to trim it a little more. Then have it balanced & there you have it, the lightest factory flywheel that your A14/15 will see.

An auto doesnt run a flywheel, but a flex plate with ring gear. If you are using one of these then you must have a custom flywheel and clutch as well????
