fuel and temp guage

when i check the power going to the fuel and temp guages with one of the light things it flashes showing the power going to them is like a blinker. its not sposed to be like that i am guessing???...

no its not suposed to do that, use a multimeter to give an accurate measurement
the wire is proably shorting out, just run a new wire will proably solve the problem.

Looks to me like the instrument voltage regulator cutting in & out. Thats what happened to my 1000 sedan many years ago. The "blink" rate was so slow that the needles were wandering up & down. I bought a new regulator & that fixed that.

nah nt fitting aftermarket guages. it was to do with the ignition barrel wires being aroundt he wrong way
