Hey all,

Im new to these forums and thought i would put a shout out to you all and up the datto's. I own a 1977 120y sedan that has bein respayed and partly restored.

Im lookin at puttin a a new engine in my car, It used to have a 4AGZE in it just before i brought it but the previous owner decided he wanted to keep that engine.

I now can't decide if i want to put the 4AGZE back into it or put in the CA18DET. At the moment im leaning towards the CA but the more i think about it can't decide.

What i would like to ask is that you's could post up the advantages for the CA and the 4A plus the disadvantages.

On a different kind of note can people help me with tellin me what problem/s i will come across whilst installing the CA, and how i can overcome them if i go that way. As i don't need advice ont he 4A installin as i'll just talk to the previous owner.

Thanks heaps

Aaron

P.S Here are some Pics of my Car.

if it is already set up for the 4ag series motors, just put one back in, the engine mounts etc should still be there.
I like the 4agze for something different in a datto, ca18 could be considered almost factory fitment with the ammount of conversions nowdays.
