Assuming I could drive like that... my car would blow up into a million pieces.

Not my vids... these are from a monthly event at Yokota Air Force Base.

ang.... we've all seen the work you've done to your car and I'm sure it would survive much more abuse than that.

Hey, I know that car! Yeah they are actually going to be racing again tomorrow afternoon. I went a couple weeks ago to go work on my Datsun and they were out there setting up for this. They do it once a month usually and bring in people from off base as well. That 1200 belongs to the president of the Yokota Sports Car Club, I have talked with him a couple times, but never got to see that car run, he said it revs up over 9000, and real quick too, but can't remember if he runs A12 or A14 or A15. I was thinking of going to watch tomorrow, but I won't be able to because we have a stupid Super Typhoon approaching and I might have to work unexpectingly. Anyway, good videos! I always wondered how quick you could get a 1200 to whip around with a LSD or locked diff, and now I know!

That's a really good video of a 1200 in action, especially the ones marked #2 (are they identical?).

Sounds good too.

Drift, I believe some programmable electronic ignition systems allow you to set a rev cut at a certain rpm point. These sytems can be used on carburetted engines.

Thats not to say the car in the video isn't fuel injected though.
