OK Ive been told nissan made a twin SU manifold, but I couldn't find one at the time so this is what I did. It's in the car now and runs great.

Nice work myko2!

It looks factory. Tell us what you used for the parts. Did you take a twin SU intake from another brand of engine and weld on A-series manifold ends?

Nice job MYKOS2 !!! The dreaded BMC twin SU"S of a mini including the MOWOG log manifold tigged onto the shortenend A14 manifold and bead blasted is my guess. A credit to you!!!!

I agree with you Errol, it's a very nice job. It would fool a bunch of people if it was on a Datto powered MG Midget !!! With the Mowog casting most experts would be fooled..I like it a lot.

Thanks all for the kind words. I started with my trusty Sawzall and cut the 'U' off my A14 manifold. Then used a MGB manifold for the other side. I just had to shorten the MGB by about 3/4". I'm not a welder so I dowel pinned it loosely and took it to my friend the welder. The inner diameters are the same on both manifolds, so it was pretty easy. I did a little filing then sandblasted it. Carbs are MGB HS4's. Since those pics, I've removed the black spacer blocks cause it wouldnt fit under the hood with em.

Excellent Work!!
Since you are in Burbank...Stop by Bob's Big Boy on Friday night with your car!
I'll be there with my Henry J maybe we can meet in person and chat face to face. ( haven't touched my 1200 since I purchased it and my 120Y is not insured...wouldn't want to get a ticket by Burbank's finest!).
