If you go to a brake supplier you can buy brake line, it costs a couple of $, if you take it home and bent it up the way you require then take it back to the shop they can put the correct fittings and flare the ends for you. Each flare and fitting is around $1 - $3 each

Yo Steve,

Where do you get your brake tubes done, my double flare tool is worn out.

I get my tube from Specialised Tube and Tool (Moxom Street Punchbowl)
Ask for Tinned Bundy Tube.

I'll be getting my Brake and Fuel tubes next week. 3/16ths for Brakes and 5/16ths for Fuel.

I know that Specialised Brake and Clutch at St Marys have the brake fittings, but I don't know how much they cost to put them on.

Chris

Yeah Chris I got all mine done a B&R Brakes at Blacktown, they have 2nd shop up Castle Hill that would be closer for you when you work on your car. Their address is unit 4d/2a Victoria Ave ( cnr windsor rd) Ph 9899 9668. From memory you have to come from Baulkham Hills side of Victioria Ave to get in the driveway. For Blacktown they are at 176 Sunnyholt rd. They didnt stock fuel line but they might still be able to do the flares. If not Pirtek do fuel line flares but wont do brake flares.

When you bend the brake lines up they ask that you leave a little more length ( say 1" ) so that when flared its in the right spot and not to short.

Cheers Steve
