I am going to swap the rowdy four speed in my ute for a 60a five speed. Now I know that when fitting a 60L into a 1200 tunnel, you have to either butcher off the reversing light switch or cut a hole in the side of the tunnel to make it fit nicely. My question is, do I also need to make this mod when fitting the 60A box? I don't have a 60L box handy to compare it with , so I'm asking yo'all.

If I recall correctly, it's worse. The 60a switch is right where the trans x-mount bolts in.

Oh well, looks like I'll have to butcher it then!
