Are there any mods needed to be done before installing a GX head on a normal A15 block. I thought I saw a post regarding oil passageways.

Yes, as I have been led to belive. I think you have to cross drill from a head bolt hole or something. I havent done this myself yet, so perhaps someone who has can be more specific.

I thought it was the other way round: installing an A14/A15 head on an A12, you need to drill the oil passage.

That could be true, but wern't the GX heads fitted to the ealy a12 motors (dizzy at the front)? Therefore wouldn't a mod be nesesary? I don't know for sure.
