Today I made a round trip to sydney. Picked up my recovered dash from chris (dattodude) and checked out his sedan Looking good . picked up a turbo for a mte in dundas and visited Jeff Taylor for a yarn ect. 600km all up so a long day. Bugger me I get 500meters from home the feds pull me up in my mums car (bog stock subaru) they ask me if I know why I get pulled over I say I dont know as I was only sitting on 80km/h in a 80 zone but allas they clocked me doing 82!!!! thats not that bad part because of the Small Farm Field days the speed limit has been changed to 60!!!! I drive this road everyday probably 3-4 times i ask why they speed signs hadnt been chaged apparntly they had but I hadnt noticed they put 60 signs over the front of where the 80km signs normally are. The silly thing is i saw the the lads in traffic and kept up the same pace thinking it was ok Anyway I tell the cop I will be writing a letter trying to get out of it he says good luck!!! Anyway I hope to get out of this one as its $208 and 3 points down the drain

Over here in California USA, I got a speeding ticket when the signs were changed in the middle of the night, and the Highway Patrol spent all day nailing everyone. But the Judge threatened the cops for such a B.S. move and everyone's tickets were droped.

That's one of the things i like about your country, common sense overlooking the policing body.

It happens. One day all us us parked along a certain street (off pavement) were given tickets for illegal parking, like 20 cars, by the city police. I then spoke to the state police and they said it was fine to park there. I wrote to the court but never heard back. That was ten years ago. Either they dropped the whole thing or there is a warrant out for my arrest!
