Congrats on your "Rivergate" (?) 5-speed purchase.

I have no idea which is "best" but with the 60a (federal B310), first gear is closer to fourth and it has a nice overdrive

I did some research on these before it's a regular b310 tranny, with a lil mod so you can use it with an adaptor on MG's.

this will be a nice improvment with a centerforce clutch.

anyone have a good flywheel?

I believe you are using this in your 210?

My understanding is that the 5 speed that you have in your A15 (USA 210, the 310 elsewhere) is a 60 series 5 speed and is the lighter of the two 5 speeds. The other one is the 63 series 5 speed which I believe may also go on the L series engine and came with the USA B210. I believe they bothare dependable, therefore lighter may be better?

The 60 series 5 Speed is, as you said, what Rivergate uses in their MG Midger/AH Sprite 5 speed conversion.

check out the Tech Section - 5-Speed Overview on this site.

The 63 series 5- speed came with the B210, while the 60 series came in the 79-82(yr?) 210
