Yes they do, but why would you want to?

Or Ute ones, or some optioned ones too Just not dodgy early model sedan ones.. Sedans are so lightweight, they just need flintstone brakes...

They will go on
Same bearings
And the hub will hold the little solid disc
Then you need to make a bracket to suit a caliper

Or.....buy a kit off me......lol

Don't bother dickin' around with it as many [including me] have had a go at this problem before without a lot of success.

I just bit the bullet & contacted dattoman_1000. He has a kit which includes new billet hubs that does the trick nicely.

You can get just the hubs & the caliper mounting plate, & source all the other parts seperately yourself from new &/or used parts sources.

As for me, i just accepted his offer for his very competitively priced "deluxe" version of the kit which incluides
New Caliper mounting plate
New billet hubs
Caliper overhaul kits & new pads
New ventilated rotors [discs] Mmmmm ventilated rotors.
New hoses
New Datsun 1200 coupe rear wheel cylinders. [smaller bore]
New Sunny master cylinder [bigger bore]
New custom pushrod for the pedal to m/cylinder link.
All fasteners [new]

To this you need to add some pre loved calipers, or new ones if you have the cash, & the whole thing fits under a 13" wheel.

This is a system that he developed about 10 years ago for his 1000 coupe & he is only now making available the "production" version of it. It is not cheap, but there is no way i could do the same for less, so i guess it really is cheap. Actually, i thought it was a bargain.

By buying the main [custom made] components & sourcing used components, costs could be reduced, but it involves a lot of running around, & that takes time that i do not have.

It's a true bolt on, with no drilling, cutting or welding required. That makes it the kind of engineering that i like.

Drop him a line & he will be glad to help you out.

Thanks Neil, i'm looking foward to getting it home.

I like to deal with people that use the product that they produce & since you have been using this system for so long, i guess it must work OK.
If it's good enough for you, then it will be good for me too.
Thanks again.

Thanks, i will be hanging out fot it.

Ventilated discs as a complete, or build it up yourself kit,... let me tell you, i have been waiting 20 years for something like this.

I ran drums on my 1000 sedan the whole time & while they worked well enough for what they were, they are not really up to the task of "sporty" driving, particularly down a mountain pass, & we have a few of those around here.

Thanks again, & i hope that other 1000 owners take advantage of your services. [mad if they don't]
Chris
