hi i need some engine mounts which will sit in my coupe and allow an A15 to be dropped in and bolted up. '81 model mounts (i think) and up are the best for this.

so if youve converted to CA or SR and have spare mounts plz shout out! or PM or email

You need either mount adapters or use a late ute 'X' member. If you need more info email me.

I think your missing the point the engine mount (rubber block) is not the problem but as a good rule of thumb they should be replace while you have the engine out.
The part of the crossmember that the mounts bolt to are in a different postion on the later 120Y/A15 engines and crossmembers.

the crossmember you all need is from the late model utes. the easiest way to distinguish them is by the distributer being further back on the engine and the alternator being up high on the drivers side of the engine. i did a conversion to late model engine on a dato 1000 in the late eighties and the only option i had was to use some 1/4in - 6mm plate and bolt and weld the plates to the brackets on the engine so as to fill the spacing between where the new brackets (being further back than original) were and the crossmember. so with the plates having holes drilled in both places for old and new mounting holes, the engine then sat 6mm higher than original position and the new brackets i had a late model engine. i xconsulted and engineer and he gave it a clean bill of health. i had to get it engineered because an A12 is more than 15% larger than an A10.
