things u can do to strengthen the head, bigger valves, roller rocks, port and polish, titaniam valves, lightened push rods, head grind to give more compresion etc.

First off all welcome to this site and congrats on getting yourself a mighty fine Datsun.
Trust me rittle grasshopper is that any question that you have about your Head or any other part of your new vehicle can be answered in the Tech section/main menu section of to the upper left of your screen.
Tell us more about your new car ie. colour, wheels etc and any other mods done to it, tell us about yourself, your profile doesn't tell us anything, ie where are you and what do you do.

Dattoman_1000 has a coupe & he developed a bloody good disc brake conversion for these cars. If you are looking to push up the power, then it might be an idea to look at the brakes too. If it still has the original drums, then drop him a line & ask him just what he has on offer.

I bought the whole brake kit from him for my 1000 coupe, & several of us also bought the roller rockers. For street use, they are a total w*nk, but thats as close to real sex as i can get these days.

It sounds like you bought the car that was on offer here recently. You have bought the best model of Datsun that you could get, not that i'm biased you understand. Congratulations.
