anyone know bout L18 points gaps and top dead centre??? if u could le me know that would be great as i need to do the timing

The Hitachi distributor that was used in the L18 engine in the 180B should have the points set to 49 to 55 degrees, the same as the 1200's
If you have the Lucas distributor, the figures are 58 to 62 degrees. Use the lower figure, & as the points wear, the dwell will move to the higher number.

I have no idea what you mean by the "top dead center" part of your question.
