need some info on a v6 conversion

I was at the supernats the other week and seen a ute with a vg20 in it so ive been told.. does anyone know of anyone that has done this. Cause if you can engineer a sr20 would you be able to do so with this...

Yep..VG20 (non turbo) is legally fine in a 1200.

The engine width would cause exhaust issues, but it's an interesting conversion. I guess it's heavier than the CA18

This is a rare conversion, due to the engine weight issue. But very interesting, I'd love to see some detailed photos of the install.

thanks dattodude for the info.. I tryed to find the ute after the burnout to take pics of the engine but it was gone.. ... So do you no how much heavier the engine is then the ca18 . Cause im thinking if doing this now cause evryone is going for the ca18 and i want to be different...
