Guys this is very off datto topic, but i found it intreresting to see a 3L 6cyl toyota engine doing a 6.7sec qtr mile pass in the states! Not bad when Brayy does 6.19s in an 8L v8.
Does anyone know why no one has made a RB26 do similar times in a tube frame drag car? I think it would be cool to see a R34gtr silhouette drag car!

nah good work to em, they must have done some work to get it to do 6.7 thats quite impresive, have that and u could start racin with the funny cars.. would that be funny?

rb26'sare nowhere near as good an engine as the toyota 2 j series. these engines can take 1000hp with standard internals. bore to stroke ratio is a lot better and block strength is up there with the best. it helps when you have these benefits from factory.

suprisingly the yanks are well ahead of the japs when to comes to toyota's.
