does anyone know of people putting suzuki swift GTi engines in 1960's 1200s like my ute cos i am told its been done. the engine bay in mine is smaller than the common 1200s so to fit the ca and sr's you have to do firewall work.

THANKS for any info

excellent conversion, the G13B engine is one of the very best...

I'm told that a G13B engine will bolt inplace of a G13A in a Sierra - Dunno if it's true or not, but thats a N-S engine setup.

Nonetheless, you'd have to do something about the dizzy sticking into the firewall though...

Yes the GTI into the sierra is a popular conversion, bolts straight up to the sierra gearbox and angle drive's for the dizzy are available from suzi sport @ about $350.

Are you guys talking about a Ford Sierra????
Thinking that was a bit big to be 1300cc powered, so who makes it??

13B is a terrific engine - I have one in my Swift and the package is surprisingly quick. 1kw per 10kg is a pretty good formula.

You have a 13B rotary in a Suzuki Swift? Sounds dangerous ... was it converted to rear wheel drive?

Also want to know what is this Sierra?

theyre talking about a G13B, the motor out of a suzuki swift gti. As far as sierra's go, theyre basically a small soft top quasi/offroader that suzuki produce.
