well heres the deal.I got the L20B in my 72 datsun 620 pick-up.it got a single 45 dcoe,headers,clutch,4.11 gears.it rips like hell,but i'm not saticfied. Can you help me list the upgrades i could do to the L20B so i can kill on the quater mile. and on my rearend and tranny.if you could.please.if not just reply

You shouldn't need to change the diff.

If you don't have a 5 speed, go look for one. Being in Hawaii, the weather and babes might be good, but I expect the range of Datsun parts will be very limited.

You already have some upgrades to the engine, and so to get "more power", you will need to spend some big money with a bore and stroke kit, otherwise you'll need to go looking for a 2nd hand turbo kit, or for you to build your own..

The cost and parts availability will be your biggest enemies.

Based on your choice of language, I'm guessing you're a young fella, so you really need to consider if you want to spend a lot of cash, just so that you can "kill on the quater mile".

howzit chris. thanks for the advice.but with the 5 speed tranny what better will it do for me.what about miss shifting.and which 5 speed is the best to use and will it fit the L20B.and will i have to modifi my 620 truck for it. and if possible could you tell me info on parts for L20B.and last could you atleast give me a rough estimate on what i would do on the quater mile. thanks i appriciate it.
