Yes, you can use the Webber on a turbo setup & it can be tuned to run very nicely.
I had a friend & workmate with a show van back in the 70's [Holden HQ Midsummer Dream] that ran a Webber as a suck through on a turbo. He had removed the butterfly on one side & fitted a welch plug to make it a single barrel carb. It went quite well too.
With a turbo, the airflow is constant, instead of pulsing, as in multiple carb setups, & it actually flows a lot more air this way than you might think.

are you talking single or twins???
either way it's possible
a dude here has twins in his 100A with a turbo setup, some very good pics and a very helpfull guy aswell
im struggling to remember his nickname now but look up 100A and turbo and you should find some info
