weber or SU turbo setup?

I have a crazy idea but i was thinking of running a turbo with a single weber, but most of who are running a turbo are using SU's? is there a reason behind this? any way i just want to hearr what you think on me running an l18 with a sibgle weber turbo ne info will help thnx

well i was thinkin of a blow through setup, but wat are the advantages to a suck through over a blow through?

su's are just as hard to tune with a turbo behind them, i personaly would be going the weber for sure!

I would also like to know the cfm ratings on the sidedraft webers of the 36 mm and the 44mm one? does anyone know what they are???

Dunno about the specific CFM, but remember that two sidedrafts (not using a common plenum) does not double your CFM supply to the engine, more like 10%.

In other words, two SUs, each feed two cylinders, are not twice as good as a single SU feeding all four cylinders. But if they were feeding a large common plenum it would be twice the airflow.
