hey i was just reading on this site about dash mods to do 2 my 1200 ute . i was just wondering if anyone has put the 1200 coups dash into their 1200 and if it looks any good and just a rough guess of what they r worth 2 buy . just wanted 2 put some gauges in and i wanted 2 know if this is a good dash 4 it

they look heaps better. you will also need to swap some of the wires in the plug on the back

Yup, the dash itself mounts right in.
But you need to have a little wiring done for the metres etc, especially if you car or ute didnt have them originally.
The wiring harneses may vary.

If you dont have a coupe dash already, I suggest getting a coupe centre console, and fit in after-market metres on them.
I think that would be the easiest option.

Yes, if you fit it to your sedan, it looks exactly like a coupe dash!

In the US, all the 1200 sedans got the Deluxe gauges (round speedometer, etc). We never got any Standard ones (rectangular gauges). The round ones are a timeless classic look.

is ther enough room 4 a few gauges where they r out of the way,look neat and are still easy to see

You can put three small gauges where the radio normally goes. Or one or two on each side of the steering column under the dash (visible when you glance down).

On the left side of this page, near the top, click "Photo Album". then on the next page that comes up near the middle click "Add a new one". .jpg or .gif files work best.
