My A14 has the same problem

I installed Alfa 33 electronic ingnition on it -

It idles great at 6

The electronic ignition from Alfa 33 1.5 is very simple and easy to adapt to A12/A14 engine - it has a module instead of the rotor with two wires that come out and connect to bobine. On the side of bobine there is also an electronic module - You just connect bobine to battery and the system works very nice with STRONG SPARK .
That gives + - 40
