To my knowledge they came out in the last of the Sunny Stationwagons (in Aus.) with the A15 motor in it.
Good luck finding one.
That is of course, you are refering to the A-series 63a gearbox.

I think he's talking about the L24E powered r30 Skylines.

Look for the big ugly 2.4E badge on the boot or rear hatch.

Talk about Deja Vu..

The Stumpy Skyline box is from the L24E powered R30 Skylines, They had a large ugly 2.4E badge on the rear panels.

The usual deal is to install the whole gearbox into the gearbox case from a CA20E [RWD Pintara's & series 3 Bluebirds] to allow a short but reasonably sturdy gearbox that fits the CAxxDE[T] engines when used in 1200's

The gearlever should come through about half a hole further back than the original.
So what do you do with the left over L series trans case & the CA20E's transmission? Thats what dumpsters are for.

MR30 skyline manual 5 speed is all you need to ask for and you'll get a stumpy 5speed.

Cheers
