Hey guys, Am doing the ca18 conv. in a 1200 ute, and am wondering if i can use my ca18 box with the stumpy skyline ? Could i just bolt up the stumpy part to the actual front part of the ca18 ? I lookd @ putting the complete CA18 box in, and after cuting out trans tunnel, it looks like major work to get it rite. Or is it ? any advice would be gratefull. cheers.

I think you need to use a ca20 bellhousing on the stumpy box for it it to fit but putting the ca box in isnt that hard.I had my trans tunnel done in a day and the gearbox sitting in its worth the extra time if you plan on getting descent power out off your ute cause the ca box is much stronger
