If you have access to compressed air, remove the radiator, half fill with water and blow air into the bottom tank, and repeat. This will release some blockages, or just get it done professionally.

Have you checked:
Welch plugs, air leaks, radiator cap, dirty cores in radiator, blocked/torn lines in radiator (little sh|t like grass reeds and seeds are buggers for these), water pump fins, kink in hoses, thermostat correct rating, are your water galleries blocked? reverse flushed the block or radiator? does water flow like the niagra falls?
There are SOO many options and the way to go is...ILLIMINATION!! tis key and then the problem will be solved!
When i bought my radiator (2nd hand) i ThOUGHT i got a bargin, good notch to...no way was completley stuffed! So i got the same one but fine nick for free!
A great test for radiators remove from car, hold your hand over the bottom pipe and fill up with water till full then let your hand off and it should flow out REALLY fast like im talking no water left in there in less than 15 secs (sounds about right??)
And before fitting again remember to reverse flush and forward flush the block and get all that crap out of the galleries coz we dont want any little nasties floating round that beautiful Datsun machinery!

I spose im stating the obvious here as the topics been brought up millions of times but this is my experience & im just sharing it!
Let us know how you go

Cheers
Dave
