Model airplane engine? Whippersnipper? Some of these have engines down to about 15cc. Check your lawnmower specialist, or hobby shops.

go for a whippersnipper one. they have a piston about the size of the palm of your hand across, if that, and the conrod and piston wouldnt be more than 10-15 cm long.

for a teeny tiny piston, check out a cheap air pump, the 12 volt variety.they're about the diameter of a 10 cent piece,& most people have a blown one somewhere,if it hasn't been binned & replaced.

Or you could place your neck in it, then jump, for the sin of thinking impure thoughts. Whizzwheel motors,... what next.

When washing machine motors run 4.5 sec passes at over 300mph then you can say they are better. What about late 80s or early nineties whenever it was with Alan Moffat and his RX-7. Pistons still provailed.
