What to look for when buying a 1400 ute!

Hey guys time to sell the buggy and get a ute, what should one look out for when buying one?

It will be the first time I will own one so all help and comments will be great.

1. make sure the tray at the front where it joins the cabin isnt rusted.
2. make sure the tray isnt twisted by standing about 5m away from the back and using the mach one eyeball.
3. make sure there is no rust in the chassis (there isnt much of it)
4. plus all the general stuff you look for when buying a car, rust, bog, oil leaks, cooling system, etc etc.

apart from that i cant think of much else which is ute specific. happy hunting.

i just realised youre from south africa. just go buy a new one. that would solve all the hassles.

yeh right at R76000.00 I will rather get a second hand one for around R20000.00
