something that I have always wondered...

what noise would you get from a screamer pipe on an external waste gated turbo set up when it comes on to boost..

would it be a rush of air, or an engine noise?

(did that question make any sense?)

here is the best pic of what I mean

Mate it's just like the same suggests - a silly loud scream. The first time you hear a car with one you will know it's THAT loud! One of the boys who races out at QR has one on his 2J powered Supra and it really hurts your hears when he goes past on the main straight. Not my cup of tea.

its more like a loud engine noise. the car will sound normal until the wastegate opens up to vent excess boot, then it acts like an exhaust pipe stright from your motor, unmuffled. ony when you are on boost tho...
