hey i was just wondering about mounting my thermo fan
some people tell me not to use those plastic things that you buy that stick through the radiator.they reckon they move and can tear it has anyone had any trouble with these
or should i find some sort of bracket

I bought a 12" thermo fan and mounted it in front of the radiator using the radiator mounting points to keep it on and it works well. So much better than the stock fan in heavy traffic.

I use a 12" Davis Craig and it's fine I have it bolted o nthe engine side of the radiator, they don't move at all and if they do it's because you haven't tightened them enough or you bump them really hard.
