63 1200 ute questions

hey there i just purchased a 1963 datto 1200 ute
and its a real goer with minimal rust
the question is
this motor has j14 where it usualy has a12
does this mean it is actualy a 1400cc
the dizzy comes sreight out the side of the block at nearly a 90 degree and the head looks slightly diferent to the a series
what are these motors like
and one more thing
what wheels from othere cars will fit these as i think they are 6 stud thanx guys for any healp
as this will be my next project after i have finnished my sedan

The J14 is a 1400cc motor... cast iron head, similar appearance to A series... but if you want any get up and go ditch it for an A series. The six lug pattern is the same as most trucks like chevrolet, hilux's etc. so anything that fits them should fit the datto if they're not too wide. I think feral? has one of these too and he's posted some pics on thiis site as well.
