i have taken my head from A14 to get shaved after overheating and bending it. The guy at the head recon place was really reluctant to shave it any more than necessary, but he agreed to 60 thou off. He reckons it stresses the bottom end but would not noticabhly increase power.

does anyone know how much that would bump up compression from the standard 8.5:1 ??? and if power or torque is noyicably improve?

also does anyone know the correct torque wrench tension for the head bolts?
