What do I do with the 3 vacuum lines that were connected to the hitachi carb, the weber only has 1 port. Will the stock cable be long enough for the linkage? (76 B210)

Do nothing with them.
1. Distributor vacuum advance. This is on the Weber. Keep using it.
2. EGR port. Leave it disconnected
3. Air Cleaner heated door control. Leave it disconnected.

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation function directs some of the exhaust gas from the exhaust manifold into the inlet manifold, under certain conditions, so that the intake mixture is diluted, & combustion temperatures are lowered to the point where Oxides of Nitrogen, a deadly poison, are not being produced. The function of this device is controlled by a thermo valve located in the front part of the head.

When temperatures are below a certain value, this device does not function at all. Above a certain value & the system becomes operative. By using ported [distributor] vacuum, the device is inoperative at idle. Generally, the vacuum below 3000 rpm at cruise is too low for the device to operate, so you need to be up on light throttle cruise at a good pace before it kicks in.

At full throttle, when you want maximum power, there is no vacuum anyway, so it again becomes inoperative. This means that you could leave it fully functioning without harming the maximum output of your engine.

The hot air function in the air cleaner is of benefit in cold climate areas & should be able to run on direct manifold vacuum via the thermo valve in the air filter housing. Once again, at full throttle, this function is disabled due to a lack of vacuum & maximum power is unafected by it, but it is of great benefit in mid winter for normal driving.

All of this will be clearly explained in your service manual.

We will need a picture of your "thingy" before we can correctly identify it.
