Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me if a 1200 strut insert fits in a stanza strut. Sorry if this sounds dumb, i'm just figuring out what I need to do a change over.

Thank you,

Daniel

i don't think so ..... ask a local pedders suspension or similar, they should be able to tell you pretty easily

hell no it shouldnt fit - grab yourself something like monroe gas inserts.. i just bought a pair for my stanzas they were about 120$ staff price.

hopefully this may help, its what ive attained for my stanza conversion (been ages since i bought the struts so i got off my ass and bought some stuff for them)

2 x stanza struts complete with lower arms, girlock calipers
2 x bump stop top rubber kit
1 x pair lowered stanza springs (king springs) hope they're ok, i havnt lowered car with them on yet
1 x pair monroe stanza inserts
1 x pair 120Y castor rods + new bushes (had to modify rods to bolt on flush with stanza control arm)
1 x pair datsun1200 strut tops
can of paint stripper
can of paint

hopefully im ready to insert these struts now.. i just need to DO IT..

Thanks for your help guys. Looks like I need to buy a few more bits yet. I only have the stanza struts (with the discs and brakes still attached). I currently have just the standard coupe setup.
