Hey people,

Did we know these were available?
DBA Disks

I got a quote from Supershit Auto here in Adelaide.

$80 for the standard slotted disks, about $150 for the cross-drilled and slotted, and a bit over $200 for the vented 'race' disks (sorry - I can't remember the exact amount - I was dumbfounded they were available)...

Just quote "DBA 314" as the part number...

TC

On the chart it sais that the DBA314 is a solid not a vented unless the race one is not listed.

too dear. I got slotted (dont buy cross drilled as they are more prone to cracking) RDA brand rotors for my Falcon (tow car) for $80 each. That also included new wheel bearings as well.

RDA are cheaper than DBA and are also made in Oz.

DBA 314 is standard slotted (S), cross-drilled and slotted (X) and the dude at supercheap said they had a listing for the vented...

Give 'em a call - I called supercheap at Darlington in Adelaide...

I doubt that there is enough meat for vented disks the solids are 9.5mm thick that dosnt leave much room for vents even the stanza ones on the chart with 12.6 mm solids are solid and not vented. I went to great lengths to get my vented disks on stanza struts and fat enough calipers to suite! If this is true good on you its a good find and well worth the cheep cost.

Ill try find a photo of mine to show how fat they are.

I agree with that.

The vented ones (if they actually do exist) must be a one-use throw away item...
