how do u remove gauge surround

i want to paint that bit of plastic that goes around the gauges and cd player and air control vents etc ...u know the dash plate part that faces u when u drivegoes from cd player to headlight controls

anyways i had a look at it and it seems as if there are just no screws or anything to undo

any help would be great thanks heaps

i think you have to get it out from the back, ie take the whole dash out.

its been a while since i took mine out so i dunno
but im pretty sure that the gauges and the cigarette lighter hold it in

you have to undo the teater control knobs (screws underneath) also undo the knobs off the wipers and light switches as well as remove the screws. Then you need to undo you speedo cable and theres a big round plug that attaches to the back of your instrument cluster, and any other wires attached to it. Then there should be 1 or 2 screws that screw down brackets coming off the tacho or speedo. I can't remember which ones.

But yeah thats pretty much how you do it.
