Ok guys,

I just got his email from Greg sutherland yes it is the same engine that was for sale a few weeks back.

this is the dyno sheet saying the engine will make 200hp .don't say anything to me about the HP i'm just saying what he said to me.

that's the same dyno chart he sent me back when he advertised it here. Its dated Nov 2003. There are a few problems with it:

1) Torque is shown in metric units (Nm), while Power is in imperial units (bhp).

2) Power and torque are always equal at 5252rpm, no ifs, buts or maybes. At least they are when the same units are used... But when you convert the torque at 5252rpm to ft-lb, say 237.5Nm * 0.738 = 175.275ft-lb its not even close.

3) peak power is exactly 150bhp at 8058rpm, and hasn't finished rising. It won't finish rising until some time after the torque curve drops away.

4) The graph starts at 3500rpm, where the engine already has over 100bhp at the wheels! But peak torque occurs just under 7500rpm! That is one amazingly flexible engine! and one awful fat torque curve - in fact its more of a torque line than a curve.
