Ok, i have a few questions about registering a 1200 CA ute in QLD.

1. To get an engineers certificate (CA engine, box, R31 LSD, rear brakes, Stanza struts, R31 fuel tank, S13 dash cluster, chipped comp, etc) what would that cost?

2. Registration costs are about what??? In NSW there is the inspection costs (pinkslip), RTA fee, taxes and number plate fee (to get a new plate) and greenslip insurance (compulsory 3rd party) as a minimum... but in QLD i don't know.

3. Does my car need a grill to be registered? Or more than a driver's seat?

The engineering/mod plate on my ute cost $400. That covered the engine, gearbox, brakes, R31 fuel tank, R31 LSD and aftermarket driver's seat. As DVLDAT has said rego is approx. $330 for 6 months or $600 for 12 months. Sorry but I can't remember how much an RWC costs but expect them to find a few things they need to `fix' to pass your car.

RWC in QLD is approx $53.00. I can give you the contact details of the guy who did my mod plate if you're interested.
