CAN ANY ONE HELP FIND THIS CAR

this car was built by me and owned by ROB souter in melbourne in the 70s.it was sold in the late 70s and i think it went to south aus.DOES any body know where this car might be now if it is still around.

hi andy,some more specs
engine was built at datsun factory and shiped out in a 1600sss factory race car which was driven by doug whiteford.rob and i purchased motor from john roxburgh.the engine was a L16(1780cc) FIA head,2x48mm webbers,foctory extractors,hepolite pistons,steel rods and 6 bolt steel crank all fully polished including inside of block, 7 litre fully baffled sump with high volume oil pump and cooler,(cam specs unknown),2000 sports car close ratio 5 speed, std 1000 rear end locked,leading and trailing arms with coil overs. watts linkage13x8 three piece symons wheels std rear drums.front end built by me consisted of rose jointed equal length top and bottom arms with coil overs and holden hr discs.engine was mounted under front screen.was quite quick for its day.we made the one piece glass front after purchasing the steel one from a chap who was running a 1000 as well with a fiat motor.

Some very good times were had racing that car and now Rob and myself are back into racing with our sons i was considering buying it back.I cant remember what it sold for (it was back in the seventies).Greg

Do you have any real reason, or evidence, to believe that it still exists, or are you just hoping that it's still out there somewhere?
After all, it's been a while.

I wish you luck as it would be good to see it back on the track again.
