Nice External oil pump. . .

Drive the car first. . . I'm thinking that the Z24 will be enough to put a smile on your face and black stripes on the road.

Check your measurements, I think your master cylinders are 1200mm to far to the right

Make it go, make it go. . .

I'm with Cable_Tie. A decent twin carbed 2.4 will be awesome in a 1200. Heaps of grunt and instant throttle response. It'll probably be faster than most turbo cars anyway.

Yeah but what about with a turbo or 2, that would just make it that much more fun

there is a big difference between a high performance turbo and non turbo motor. compression and lots of it make an NA go hard, but the opposite applies for a turbo. basically if you have built your motor to be a good NA performer it will be not a good motor to turbo, you really should start again!

.... make it go!

bah humbug, thats only for HIGH powered turbo high boost motors, but for tough street cars, i reckon reasnoble compression (around stock) and low boost with a small turbo, makes for a very nice drive

only problem with mine is it comes on boost so early (pretty much as soon as i touch the pedal) i think it's killing me with fuel consumption, but it's awesome to drive, pulls from nothing

thats the other side of the story anyway

spool up time is related to the size of the exhaust housing, lets face it mick - your balls are probably bigger than those turbos

dont quote me but the new XR6 is about 9.5:1
turbos and carbies are not an easy combination
unless you have a big selection of jets or metering needles (SU) to tune it .
