commodore calipers won't fit. what's wrong with yours - eg leaking, seized?

The stanza brakes are great even for racing.
The alloy girlocks and the solid disk keep the unsprung weight down and fitting a 13" minilite keeps it down even further.
Even though I run a Lancer booster I think its overkill and may even take it off one day to get a bit more feel into the brakes.
All I did was swap the coupe struts out for 200B GX struts which came with stanza /200B disks and girlock calpiers.
I used the stanza lower arm which gives extra track and camber (1/2 degree before Noltec strut tops and bending to achieve 4.5 degrees) and 120Y castor rods, which have been machined to get 6 degrees castor.
I used standard brake lines, and dot 5 high temp fluid and Maxi-Stop branded semi metallic pads.
Next mod is to use RDA branded slotted solid disks on the front.
I still run standard ute drums on the rear with semi metallic pads...which dont even look like wearing after 5 solid days on the track.
The thing is that it unloads the back and I lose a bit of braking bias on the rear. I am looking at a set of 350 and 400lb springs on the front as the 300lb may be just a little too soft.
The key to good braking is to get the backs working too with chassis balance and also proper braking bias.
If you start going big $$$ getting GTR brakes etc (unless youre running a hot CA or SR turbo) I really think youre wasting your time and money.
If I did become unhappy with my current setup (ie when I out grow them with my driving)... I would probably go straight to Willwood brakes.

from what u said u are runin standard brake lines.....do u meen standard stanza or standard 1200 cause by the looks of things 1200 have a different connections.......

the deal with my calipers is that they are seized and the brake shop told me im up for 200 to rebuild them and that doesnt include resleeving apparently....just incase it needs it....

everything else is in great condition that came with the struts discs..etc
