had a quick look but couldnt find anything, does the z24 come out of any vehicles that were made or delivered to australia, what were they from else were, thanks in advance

if you are talking about the same motor i am thinking of they come in nissan navara utes 2.4 litre 5 speed

Did you guys get the really poxy front wheel drive blueys? there was a 2.4 version of that.... Station wagon only I think...

About that, did we ever get the KA24de? It was in early model skylines yeah? the ones with rectangular shaped rear lights...

i don't think we got the KA24, its a silvia motor in the states. don't think we're missing much either! the old skylines had an L24, 2.4L six cyl.

yer just toying with the stroker l20b to l24 idea as i need to keep the l20b block for engineering legal reasons. Not much info around any would be appreasiated otherwise it will be trial and error. Fortunatelly i have a workmate who is fairly knowlagable building custom engines

i thought the VL rb30's were straight out of the nissan factory, so are you saying that the nissan ones were from taiwan aswell?

navaras came with both z24's & ka24's.in fact im thinking of replacing the z24 in my navara with a ka24,then do what you're considering,which is using the crank, rods, pistons,etc in an l20b.the people on ozdat call this a lz20,& i suggest your go to the ozdat forums & look up the combination.the combo needs the z24 timing cover,for example.you can also get z24's in urvans,& ka24de's in u12 pintaras & the ford corsairs.
