Hey guys strike another one up for the Datsun 1200's.
At the Bathurst supersprint todaY, Andrew (CA18DET_MAN) took his class AND the whole event outright, my friend enterd his mid eithies 3 series BMW and took his class and I took my class in my A15 powered 1200 coupe. Yeah!!!
What a blast...oh by the way Andrew let me drive his car up the mountain and that thing is completely insane....I thought mine went well but that CA powered coupe is just ballistic.!!! Anyway we hope to see you guys up there next time we compete and Benny and R-Fast are gonna have to run us as well.
Photos to come....Andrew you have some at all?

Congrats guys. Top effort. I'm hoping to be down at Bathurst for the Fiat Nationals early next year. Apparently the hillclimb is an open event so I thought I might have a run in my 1200 and in my brother's 125S. What sort of times are you guys running?
Andrew - What times did you run before the latest rebuild?

Hey

Congratulations to Andrew on an outright win at the Bathurst Super sprint. Next closest car was a late model Porsche 911 (not exactly straight out of the box either).

A big congratulations to Andrew on his event win and class win. Not many realise just what a fantastic achievement this is, well done mate, I bet you wont forget that weekend in a hurry and I can understand why your feel stuffed after muscling your coupe around the mountain all weekend. And to Craig and the others who were there representing the mighty 1200, good on you for keeping the other competitors honest. Looks like everyone had a good time and enjoyed the competition.
Very well done to all.
