I installed the pertronix electronic igintion retro fit kit the other day and im really impressed with it. Starts the first time it comes around on compression and is much more responsive across the rev range. It cost me $120 including shipping from the US and it arrived in under a week. Itis the most simple looking thing I have seen. I cant believe how small the module is. Its about the size of you thumbnail and sits inside the oringinal cap. It isnt a high energy system tho. You still have to use a points style coil or youll burn it out unless you go the more expensive Pertronix Fireball 2 kit. But the spark is great and is definately worth the money. Its much cheaper than any other option the only catch is it comes from overseas but I had no trouble with shipping.

I was suprised at the difference to be honest. I only really wanted to eliminate the points but it turned out to have other advantages.

BIG BUMP!!!

There's pertronix kits for Datto's HERE on eBay.

$64.95USD + $18.95USD shipping to Australia (I asked) which makes a grand total of approx $111 AUD to own one. Not bad methinks!

Get 'em while the Aussie dollar's strong!
