i have been contacted by a bloke down in albany, not sure if he responded to here or my quokka ad about his 1980 model Sunny with a 'race prepped' A15 from a 1500 ute. He is after 700 for the unlicensed car (don't matter to me), reckons his car is in mint condition and it and has the race-prepped motor. Not sure whether I should see it, its a bit out of the price range i am looking at plus i need an a12 for it to be raceable. does anyone in perth want to buy the motor and how much is it really worth?

in other news i am trying to buy an unlicensed baby sh!t brown sunny (a real sh!tter of a looker) that I saw on the side of the road on the way to school... just waiting for that damned fone to ring

'mint' sunny with race-prepped a15, wants 700 for it. i can't race a15, has to be a12 - anyone interested in a15? is this worth it? the bloke lives in albany... is this you?

plus should mention that if since it has a so-called 'mint' body that i would end up sending to hell on the speedway track...

is there anyone out there with Sunnys to get rid of? even if you think that they should be destined for scrap metal i am still interested... its really a shame cos thats where most Sunnys end up

The 1500 [so called] "ute" did not, to the best of my knowledge, use an A15 engine. I think that they used a J15, so be sure of what the engine actually is before parting with any cash money

yeah, i thought it was a bit suss... still the ute he got it out of could have had the j15 replaced with an a15... what i really found suss was there are not any speedway classes that race 1500 engines, except for the 2.0l class, but you would be stupid to race a 1.5l in a 2.0l class anyway.
don't think i mentioned that it was out of his 'speedway' car.
