flywheel is tightened, all back in

and yay, the gearbox i got with the dellow conversion is fairly shagged, pops outta second and vibrates and grinds in all gears

getting sick of this shiet now... its getting silly

i dropped the boost back to about 8psi, and it just doesnt have the bite it used to anymore

chews heaps of juice, ran outta fuel last night had to wait for dad to save me (put $15 in and went for a longish drive but still didnt expect to use it all)

so yeah.... not so inspired at the moment

All of us at team "new school" will welcome you with open arms

you missed one hell of a good auction mate, i bought a CA 18DET motor, missing a few bits but i have spares of them all anyway, for $80. the motor has been rebuilt somewhere in its past too! i laughed and thought of you when they had a pallet of six or so a series 4 speed gearboxes. i think it went for fifty bucks!

If you are using one of those Toyopet gearboxes that Dellow makes the kit for then i must say that i am surprised. Much as i hate to say it, those boxex are near bulletproof, so someone has been doing something to it that they probably shouldn't have in an earlier life.

One of the reasons that they are fairly cheap to buy is because few people buy them. Why? Because they usually give no trouble in normal service, so demand is low, hence, the price is low just so that they can sell them.
Hopefully you will come up with a good replacement at a very low cost soon.

having previously owned heavily worked 2TG powered TA23 Celicas, I can tell you they are a good box, but definitely not bullet proof. Don't abuse them and they will last alot longer than any other 5speed box you can get for the A series.
