$750. everything went reaal cheap. twas good for buyers but i felt a bit sad for the old owners. the auto 1200 sedan which was totally original in need of only exterior cosmetic help (paint not rust) went for $175. the guy jump started it and drove it home!

That's barely more than a couple of good quality trolley jacks. All you'd need is a good high roof on the garage and you'd be set right up.

sadly nisspares is no longer masses of panels went for $50 - for the lot! including 1000 1200 and 1600 stuff. all their bumpers went for under $100. nobody really wanted them all so everything was just so cheap!

If you go to the Nispares site [yes, it's still active] it will tell you there. The owner was injured in a car accident last year & has not been able to run the business properly since, it would seem.

A windfall for DatNis spares, who are located reasonably nearby, i guess.

That is so sad...There is not many Datsun Workshops and wreckers left in Melb. to cater for the old Dattos....Can anyone in Melb recommend someone who can get panels and parts for my Datsun 1200 ute.. I'm not after a lot of things but things like a guard and some front end bits....

just buy a sedan or coupe from the trading post for anything front end and a 120y or sunny for anything mechaniacal. cheaper than the wreckers.
